I see my role in mediumship as being in service to the spirit world — becoming as receptive as I can so that I may give a voice to the individual who steps forward, with honesty, sensitivity and respect.

Every person in the spirit world is an individual, with their own personality, memories, relationships, experiences and way of expressing themselves. I believe good mediumship should honour that individuality and allow something of the person themselves to be recognised, so that those receiving the communication can feel something of the presence of the person they love.

It is an extraordinary privilege to do this work.

Hello, I’m Jason Paul.

I’m a psychic medium based in Bristol, working with people across the UK and around the world.

My journey here has not been a straight one.

Sensitivity and an awareness of something beyond the physical world have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, although for many years I didn’t really understand what I was experiencing or what to do with it.

There is a family thread too. My grandfather, Eddie Paul, was a respected medium and spiritual healer. He had a profound influence on me, both during his life and, I believe, since his passing. I use his surname today to honour him and the spiritual connection that has quietly followed me throughout my own life.

But before stepping fully into this work, I spent ten years building a legal recruitment business. On the surface, the two worlds could hardly look more different. Looking back, though, I can see the same thread running through both.

Much of my life has been about people.

Listening to them. Understanding where they are. Helping them recognise possibilities they may not have been able to see for themselves. Encouraging them to trust themselves, make changes and find the courage to step towards the life they want to live.

That is still at the heart of what I do today.

You may have arrived here because you are missing somebody you love, moving through a period of change, questioning the direction of your life or beginning to recognise a sensitivity within yourself that you would like to understand. Whatever has brought you here, I want you to feel welcome, listened to and able to explore what matters to you.

Mediumship itself means a great deal to me.

When I become aware of someone in the spirit world, I don’t simply want to give you a list of facts about them. Evidence matters enormously because it helps us recognise who is communicating, but for me the communication goes beyond that.

I want to allow something of the person themselves to emerge.

Their personality. Their humour. Their memories. Their relationships. The way they lived, loved and experienced their life.

And sometimes, when that communication really begins to unfold, there can be a sense of something greater than information alone — a feeling of recognition, closeness and their presence.

That, for me, is part of the extraordinary power of mediumship.

For a little while, it can feel less like we are talking about somebody who has passed and more like we are acknowledging the continuing relationship with the person themselves.

I consider it an enormous responsibility and privilege to represent that communication with honesty, sensitivity and respect — both for the person sitting with me and for the individual in spirit whose life I am trying to give expression to.

I also experience mediumship as a form of healing. Not because it can remove grief or change what has happened, but because recognising that love, memory and relationship can continue may sometimes bring comfort, understanding and a different sense of connection.

My psychic work carries that same desire to empower.

Here, the focus is on you — your life, your circumstances, your strengths and the possibilities available to you. I am not interested in telling somebody how to live their life or making their choices for them. I want to help people understand themselves more clearly, recognise their own potential and feel more confident in making the decisions that belong to them.

Through Soul Sync, my classes and development work, I have also become increasingly passionate about helping people explore their own sensitivity. I believe we are all individuals, and our awareness expresses itself through the unique language of our own lives. Development, for me, is about discovering that language rather than learning to become a version of somebody else.

Ultimately, whether you come to me because you are missing someone you love, looking for clarity in your own life or beginning to explore your own potential, the intention behind my work is much the same:

To listen.
To serve.
To encourage.
And, wherever I can, to help people feel a little more connected — to those they love, to themselves and to the possibilities within their own lives.

Mediumship Readings

For me, mediumship is not simply about describing someone you love. It is about giving them a voice.

Evidence helps you recognise who is communicating. My intention is to allow their presence and personality to come alive through me — their humour, their feelings, what they want you to know — so that you are not simply hearing about them, but hearing from them.

Mediumship at its core is a form of healing, sometimes for the person in front of me, sometimes for the person in spirit, often for both at the same time.

At the heart of this work are people, their relationships and the things that matter most to them.

You might be missing someone you love, finding your way through a period of change, or wanting to understand your own sensitivity and potential. Whatever brings you here, my intention is to meet you with love, warmth, honesty and care.

For me, mediumship is about more than receiving information. It is about the person behind that information and what they mean to you. Their character, their humour, the experiences you shared, the relationship you had and the love that makes that connection uniquely yours.

It cannot take away the pain of missing someone. But I believe a meaningful connection can sometimes bring comfort and a renewed sense of closeness, alongside the grief you may still carry.

That same care is at the heart of my readings and teaching. I want to help people recognise what is already within them, explore their own sensitivity and potential, and grow in confidence in their own understanding. Not to tell anyone what they should think, believe or do, but to support them in discovering more for themselves.

Spiritualism has given me a great deal, and helping others is how I hope to give something back. For me, this work is ultimately about service — taking care with people’s trust, respecting their experiences, and doing my best to serve both people and the spirit world with sensitivity, honesty and integrity.

Why I Do This Work

The Soul Sync Podcast

My curiosity about consciousness, the spirit world and what we are capable of extends far beyond my own work as a medium.

I am also the host of Soul Sync, an international spirituality podcast exploring mediumship, consciousness, healing, human potential and some of the bigger questions surrounding life, death and the nature of who we are.

Through conversations with mediums, teachers, researchers and people whose experiences have challenged conventional ideas about consciousness, Soul Sync has become a place for me to explore those questions openly — to learn, to experiment and, above all, to remain curious.

I don't believe spirituality requires us to stop asking questions.

Quite the opposite.

I think curiosity matters. There is so much we still don't understand about consciousness, our potential and the relationship between this world and whatever may lie beyond it.

And sometimes the most interesting journeys begin simply by being willing to ask:

What if there is more?
