Terms & Privacy Policy

These terms explain how my readings, classes and events work, and how your personal information is looked after. By booking with me, you agree to them. If anything is unclear, please email hello@jasonpaulmedium.com and I'll happily explain.
Part 1: Terms of service
1. About me
Jason Paul is the professional name of Jason Connolly. All readings, classes and events are provided by Soul Sync Spiritual Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17234351). In these terms, "I", "me" and "my" mean Soul Sync Spiritual Ltd, acting through Jason Paul.

2. Private readings
Private readings cost £45 for 30 minutes and take place online via Zoom. All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and are shown before you book.
You book and pay online through my booking diary. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your booking is confirmed once payment is received, and your confirmation email includes your Zoom link.
Please don't share names or details about the people you hope to hear from, before or during your reading. I simply ask that you answer with "yes", "no" or "I don't know". This lets me stay focused on the person communicating from the spirit world, and means you can be confident that what I give you comes from them.
I can't guarantee who will communicate, or what information will come through.
Readings are only available to people aged 18 and over.
3. Rescheduling and cancelling a reading
You can reschedule or cancel your reading yourself, up to 12 hours before your appointment, using the link in your confirmation email.
If you cancel at least 12 hours before your appointment, you'll receive a full refund.
Outside your 14-day cancellation period (see section 4), cancellations made less than 12 hours before your appointment, and missed appointments, aren't refundable. Where I can, I'll still try to offer you another time.
If I need to cancel, you can choose a full refund or a new appointment.
If the Zoom connection fails on my side, we'll rebook at no cost to you.
4. Your 14-day right to cancel
UK law gives you 14 days from the date you book to cancel a service bought online. If your reading or class takes place within those 14 days, booking it means you're asking me to provide it within that period.
If you cancel within 14 days of booking, and before your reading or class has taken place, you'll receive a full refund. Once the service has been fully provided, the right to cancel ends.
5. My promise to you
If a reading isn't connecting with you, please tell me during the session. If it hasn't resonated, I'll give you a full refund, as long as you let me know during the appointment.
I'll also be honest with you if I feel a meaningful connection hasn't been made, and refund you in that case too. I can't accept refund requests made after the session has ended.
6. Recordings
I only record a reading if you ask me to. Recordings are free.
Your recording is for your personal use. Please download it promptly, because it's permanently deleted from my systems within 7 days.
Asking me to record your session means you consent to me holding the recording for those 7 days. I never use recordings for any other purpose.
Recordings can contain personal information about you and others, so please think carefully before sharing yours.
7. Classes and development circles
Single class: £25. 3-class pass: £70. 6-class pass: £135. Passes are valid for one year from purchase and can't be transferred to someone else.
Each class has a maximum of 35 people, and places are first come, first served. A pass doesn't reserve a place on every date. If a session is full, your credit stays on your pass for another date.
You can reschedule or cancel a class booking yourself, up to 12 hours before the class starts, using the link in your confirmation email. If you cancel in time, a pass credit is returned to your pass, and a single class is refunded. Section 4 also applies.
If I cancel a class, you can choose a credit or a refund.
Classes are live and interactive, and you may be placed in breakout rooms. Please keep anything shared by other participants confidential, and don't record the class or other people.
The free online development circle is hosted on Zoom by Alexandra Rush and co-hosted by me. It's free to attend and follows the same guidelines.
8. In-person events
Prices, times and venue details are shown on each event listing. If I cancel an event, you'll receive a full refund.
9. What readings can and can't do
In line with the terms of my professional insurance, readings and predictions are provided for entertainment purposes only.
A reading isn't a substitute for medical, legal, financial or psychological advice. Please don't make important decisions based on a reading alone.
I don't present the future as fixed. Circumstances change, and your choices remain your own.
If you're struggling with grief or your mental health, please speak to your GP. You can also call Samaritans free, day or night, on 116 123, or Cruse Bereavement Support on 0808 808 1677.
10. Respect
I work with care and sensitivity, and I ask for the same in return. I may end a session or class if someone is abusive or behaves inappropriately. No refund is given in that case.
11. Liability
I provide every service with reasonable care and skill. My liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the booking in question.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. I'm not responsible for problems with your own internet connection or equipment.
12. Website content
The articles, podcast episodes and images on this website belong to Soul Sync Spiritual Ltd unless stated otherwise. You're welcome to share them with a link back to the original, but please don't copy them wholesale.
13. Changes and governing law
I may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you book is the one that applies to your booking. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and nothing in them affects your statutory rights.
Part 2: Privacy policy
1. Who is responsible for your information

2. What I collect
When you book: your name, email address, time zone, booking details, and your answers to my booking questions. These include whether you'd like your reading recorded, whether anyone will join you, how you heard about me, and anything you choose to tell me to help you feel comfortable.
Phone number: only if you choose to give it. I only use it if we lose the Zoom connection.
Payments: these are processed securely by Stripe. I never see or store your full card details.
Recordings: only when you request one, and deleted within 7 days.
Mailing list and circle sign-ups: your name, email address, country (if you give it) and your marketing preferences.
Messages: anything you send me by email or through my website.
Website use: my website provider collects basic analytics and uses cookies (see section 9).
I don't keep notes of what comes through in your reading.
3. Sensitive information
Readings can touch on very personal matters, such as grief, health, relationships and beliefs. I treat everything shared in a reading as confidential. I only record a reading with your explicit consent, which you give when you book.
4. Why I use your information
I use your information:
to provide the services you book (to perform our contract);
to send you emails you've signed up for (with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time);
to reply to your messages, keep proper business records and understand how people find my work (legitimate interests);
to meet tax and accounting requirements (legal obligation).
5. Who I share it with
I only share your information with the services I use to run my work:
Squarespace (website and mailing list),
Acuity Scheduling (bookings),
Zoom (sessions and recordings),
Stripe (payments),
Google Workspace (email).
Some of these companies are based in the USA and protect your data using UK-approved safeguards. I never sell your data, and I never share the content of your readings.
6. How long I keep it
Recordings: deleted within 7 days.
Booking and payment records: 6 years, for tax and accounting purposes.
Mailing list: until you unsubscribe.
Circle sign-ups: until you ask to be removed.
General enquiries: up to 2 years.
7. Marketing
I only send marketing emails if you've said yes to them. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
access, correct or delete your information;
restrict or object to how I use it;
ask for a copy to take elsewhere;
withdraw your consent at any time.
Just email hello@jasonpaulmedium.com, and I'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
9. Cookies
My website uses essential cookies to work properly, plus analytics cookies to help me understand how it's used. You can manage your choices through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
10. Changes
I may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
