Three Days in the Field of Dreams. This one feels particularly special. 💙
For years, The Healing Weekend has been something Mum and I have looked forward to every summer.
It’s become a bit of a tradition.
We arrive ridiculously early — normally on the Friday, pretty much as the gates open — and I make a beeline for the same lovely gentleman I visit every year who somehow manages to sort my chakras, energy and everything else out before I’ve even properly started the weekend. 😂
Then we wander.
We talk to people, discover things we absolutely didn’t know we needed, eat, laugh and generally soak up what has always felt like a very special atmosphere.
So it feels slightly surreal to say that in July 2027, I won’t just be visiting.
I’ll be there for all three days, reading in the Readers’ Tent.
I’ll be offering mediumship, psychic and tarot readings throughout the weekend, and hopefully Mum — or Kimble, as she is known around here — will be joining me too with a few of her beautiful little treasures, things she has made or lovingly discovered along the way.
There have been a surprising number of little synchronicities connected with this festival as my own path has unfolded over the years, and I can remember saying to Mum more than once that one day I would love to be there reading.
And now I am.
There’s something quietly lovely about that.
I think there will definitely be a little moment on the first morning when I’m sitting behind my own table thinking, “Well… this actually happened.”

About The Healing Weekend
The Healing Weekend is held in Somerset’s countryside at New Road Farm, East Huntspill and brings together holistic practitioners, healers, therapists, exhibitors, workshops, talks, live music, food, crafts and activities across three days. The organisers describe its home as their much-loved “Field of Dreams.”
And having visited for years, I can understand why.
It has always felt less like somewhere Mum and I simply go and more like one of those little markers in the year.
This time, I’m incredibly proud to be part of it.

The official visitor information currently lists the festival as open 10am–5pm daily, with additional Friday and Saturday evening entertainment. I’d probably leave the daily times off your main promotional copy for now and simply update your Squarespace listing if the organisers issue specific 2027 timings nearer the event.
The festival also currently lists free parking with a shuttle service, workshops and talks, food and catering, accessibility provisions and family activities.
